Revelstoke Skiing


Skiing & Snowboarding

Revelstoke Mountain Resort opened for skiing and snowboarding in winter 07/08 and looks to be going from strength to strength! Featuring 32 runs over 3031 acres, four alpine bowls, North America's longest run (15.2km/9.5mi), Last Spike, a vertical of 1713m (5620ft), and an annual snowfall of 12-18m (40-60ft), you're sure to find something to enjoy!

The deepest, freshest cat skiing in the legendary Selkirk Mountains offers adventure par excellence! The three cat skiing bowls, South, Montana, and Kokanee, offer breathtaking views of the spectacular Monashee Range and the mighty Columbia River.

Nordic Skiing

Located about 7km south of Revelstoke on Highway 23, the Mount MacPherson trails of the Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club offer about 24km of skate and classic skiing. The trails are trackset at least once a week (usually before a weekend or after a snowfall). There's a trail fee collection hut at the trail head - if it is not manned, there's a fee box. Outhouses are located at the parking lot and also at the Ole Sandberg Cabin, which is about 2.5km from the parking lot.

With tours ranging from a couple of hours to all day, as well as evening and multi-day tours, there's something for everyone! No experience, no gear, no problem - all tours include instruction as necessary, and gear (except gloves). Fully bonded and insured operator, experienced guides. Snowmobile rentals available.

Revelstoke Forum - Ice Arena

With a seating capacity for 1000 people, the Revelstoke Forum has an ice hockey rink, public skating, and there's a curling rink attached, too.

All their guides have extensive knowledge and skill in fly-fishing, spey-casting, drift fishing, and spin casting. Specializing in remote wilderness fly-fishing via heli, float plane, 4x4, and jet boat in the rugged Selkirk and Monashee mountain ranges of British Columbia, RFG is located at the base of Mount Revelstoke National Park, just 45 minutes away from historic Roger's Pass and the heart of Glacier National Park.

The Revelstoke Nickelodeon Museum is Canada's only mechanical music museum! One hour guided tours of Victorian musical boxes, player pianos, player reed and pipe organs. Explore the building, built in 1911, and browse the gift shop. A great way to spend a rainy afternoon!

The Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre, open every day except Saturday and Monday, is a not-for-profit community facility. View current exhibitions, various classes are available.

The Revelstoke Railway Museum operates both the museum in Revelstoke and the Last Spike historic site, about 28 miles west of the town. With plenty of indoor and outdoor exhibits, this is a great way to learn about the history of this area!

Revelstoke Aquatic Centre offers fun and relaxation year round in salt water pools! Friendly staff, 25m lap pool, climbing wall, leisure pool with lazy river, wild waterslide, hot tub, sauna and steam room. Various classes are available, too!

SkyTrek Revelstoke


SkyTrek Adventure Park

See the forest from the tree tops! Located in the Enchanted Forest, between Revelstoke and Sicamous, SkyTrek Adventure Park lets you use zip lines, scramble nets, suspension bridges, swinging logs and skateboards (!) to explore the canopy! There are three courses offering varying degrees of height, length and difficulty, including a kids' course. Ideal for the whole family over 5 years of age (height and weight restrictions apply)!


Enchanted Forest


Enchanted Forest

Located 32km (20mi) west of Revelstoke, on Highway 1 (the Trans Canada Highway), the Enchanted Forest is a great place to stop and let your imagination run free, whether you're 2 years old, or 62! See if you can spot over 350 fairy folk figurines, all lovingly handcrafted, along the main trail in the Grand Old Forest! Take a row boat out and visit beaver dams and lodges, and natural floating gardens! Open mid-May to Thanksgiving.

The Revelstoke Dam Visitor Centre, 5km north of the town on Highway 23, has free admission and is fully wheelchair accessible. Atop the west end of the power house, there's a large exhibit area, a theatre, gift shop and other visitor facilities.
